Privacy Policy
This page explains what data Islamic Association for Outreach and Guidance collects, why, and where it is kept. We collect the minimum required, and we never sell your data or share it for advertising.
No tracking, no cookies
This site uses no cookies, no analytics tools, and no advertising pixels of any kind. We do not build a profile of you or track you across pages.
Programme registration
When you register for a programme we ask for your name, phone number, email address, the programme you want, and any notes. These are stored on the site’s own server, outside the public folder, seen only by the Association’s staff, and used solely to contact you about your registration.
Contact form
Contact-form messages are delivered through the Web3Forms service, which forwards them to the Association’s inbox. Your message and email address pass through that service for delivery. You can always email us directly instead of using the form.
External services
- Prayer times: requested by your browser from the Aladhan API using the town’s coordinates only — no data about you.
- The map on the contact page is embedded from OpenStreetMap; loading it sends their servers the usual connection details, such as your IP address.
- Links to Facebook, WhatsApp and the Athar Platform lead to external sites with their own policies.
- Registration notifications are emailed from the Association’s own mail server, and an SMS may be sent via Twilio where enabled.
Facebook content
We show posts from our Facebook page on this site. Those posts and their images are fetched by our own server and stored here, so your browser never contacts Facebook while you browse — and Facebook receives no information about your visit.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Contact us through the contact page and we will act on your request.
Changes to this page
We may update this policy if how the site works changes. The version published here is always the current one.
